hot air

I did some alternater work the other day. But now I have the clasic problem of now that that's fixed this is broken to. When I push the button for the fan (don't have A/C) . You know the one on the far left and move the slider all the way cold. I get hot air. It's hotter then the air out of the heater. Before it was always a little cool.

I am REALLY confused. Your car is 99% dynoing with less power then it was with stock intake.

First of all, you made a hot-air intake. Not a ram, ram intakes exist in jets, and in cars at the nose about 100-150mph.

Second, you used what looks like 2.5" piping?! The stock pipe is 3.5"!

Wtf?!

Edit: Nice job turning your AFM sideways. Have fun with improper AFR's, stuttering, and another host of problems that exist with a mal-aligned AFM.

That style of intake is commonly referred to as a short ram. This is industry wide regardless of what you think or what it actually does.

Let's try to stay on topic here.

There is a chance that your heater core is opened completely and that you aren't closing the air off to it by switching to cold.

or....

Your Logicon is going out.

Do a search for Logicon failure and it should turn up what you need.
