Remember it takes 30 driving miles (I think) to fill them back up - run premix until then

Wow!. Those look bad. Did you read some of the archives on alternatives to factory? There are some good right-ups for a reseonable price.

Even if they fill in 10 seconds you will still be running without it at startup.

I don't think they fill up quickly at all.

I'm no expert though...

Be cafeful with whatever you do.
Please don't blow your engine over this

Price mainly. I didnt feel the need to drop $100+ on SS lines when these will do the job just fine. At nearly 1/3 the price of SS lines these will achieve the same goal.

Or you could just prime & bleed them before cranking the car

I believe there's aftermarket teflons lines for a reasonable price.

Just idle the engine hot and lift up on the omp rod at the throttle body. The oil will oooch up the lines. The higher the idle, the faster they'll fill up. You do your engine NO harm by running for this short period of time. Or just drive the thing around for a half hour or so without beating on it. NO harm will be done at all. Paranoid???? Put some two stroke oil in the gas tank.

I guess braided lines are ok for chaffing protection. Not needed for pressure since the *pressue* is in the area of less than a psi.

Well Ive put nearly 150 miles on the car since installing the lines and there is only a few drops in one of the lines. Its and S5 so the OMP is electric, what do I have to do to get the pump to actually pump? Im running 2 stroke oil in the meantime.
