hit a bump and heard buzzer

hit a bump and heard buzzer

I was cruising around on the highway at about 2500 rpm when i hit a bump and the i heard the redline buzzer for an instant.

This ever happen to anyone?

And no i didn't nail the gas.lol

Check your oil level. You are probably low. When you went over the bump the oil level dropped too low so it buzzed.

I agree, sometimes when I would take turns at a "spirited" speed the oil or coolant level light would come on in my idiot cluster and buzz really loud. It's just the liquids splashing around and not touching the sensor, which could be explained by being low.

I had that problem and it was the samething for me. The oil was just a little low. Good Luck figuring this out!

If your oil level turns out to be fine, check the wire to your oil level sensor on the side of your oil pan, if there is any bare wire showing it could have tapped on the frame which would make it buzz.

thanks guys it turned out to be low, still on the stick but below the acceptable limit.
