high flow cat

Can someone give me some company names and websites of some places to get a high flow cat for a 88 SE? Also I guess there is a cat and pre cat stock? Do these replace both of them? And this will be being attached to the RB Cat Back system. Thanks.

racingbeat.com just has straight through piping though I think. Not an actual catalytic converter. Or am I wrong? I thought i searched that site though.

They sell Bonez brand cats. You can get a main cat replacement only, a Superflow system (replaces precats with silencer, and main cat with high-flow) or a double-cat system. Both bolt up directly from stock exhaust manifold to the cat-back. You can pass emissions perfectly with only 1 bonez cat, I have done it, as well as many others.

isn't CA emissions harder than other states? will the superflo pass CA emissions?

As far as the actual emissions test, Im sure it would pass just fine. But as far as a visual, Im not sure if they check for those pre-cats or not. I dont live in CA (thank god..) so I dont know for sure.

Yeah ive been trying to find a exaust system that I can replace for the CA tests... They are quite crappy... I don't even think you are alowed to change out the stock "header" or whatever is in place of a header on a stock system.... Im not entirely sure the legalitys yet... Trying to find all that crap out so I can get a new system put on.

I passed smog with flying colors on my 89 T2. Corksport 3 inch downpipe to a bonez high flow main cat and stock catback. No intake.
