For the guys that have hidden there engine wiring and put the battery in the boot.

Is this how you did it ? If not what did you change / recommend doing differently ?

Ignore the extra fused stuff, just wanted to run new power lines for the electrical driven devices.

wow thought more yanks had tackled this.... obviously not.
Even a tip on the gauges would be a nice tip, or I'll run 2 gauge for everything

oh and obviously Im running aftemarket ecu and CDI + coil packs

Most often the engine wiring is hidden in the transmission tunnel.

Battery relocation info has been covered many times. Ted's site has a good writeup, and a search for "battery relocation" will turn up many past threads:

Thanks Aaron, but Im not doing a simple battery relocation. Its not like Im running a new power to the existing + terminal but the Bat is in the boot.

Relocating main engine fuses etc, so I kinda need a little more help. at the end of the day if no one knows, I'll run 2 gauge to the Alt and Starter.

And knowing most dont trip a 150A breaker, I'll use that instead. was going to a 240amp.

Really thought more guys would have tackled this...

What do you need help with specifically? The diagrams of that harness are in the FSM, and it sounds like all you'll need to do is extend them.

2 AWG to the alternator is more then a little excessive. I use 4 AWG as the main feed from my battery to the whole car. Unless you are running alternator capable of spitting out 200+ amps, then 8 or 6 gauge is going to be fine.
