Helppppp!!!!!

I have a 1990 GXL. It has a fuel pressure problem. I checked the fuel pump and it is working. It will run BUT only if my foot is in the gas. BUT even then it runs pretty bad. Do these have a Fuel pressure regulater? What else could it be?

Check for vacuum leaks, from the filter all the way to the engine.

how do you do that? I don't smell gas like there is a leak. I put gasket sealer on the hose attaching into the fuel pump thinking it was there but that did not work.

How do you know that you have a fuel pressure problem? Have you verified fuel pressure with an external gauge?

More then likely, you have a vacuum leak. Check specifically around the large black intake tube that leads from the AFM to the throttle body (or turbo, if you have a TII).
