stalling out; won't restart.

I tried searching, but didn't find anything for my problem...
My car just started running again a few days ago after sitting for a year. I replaced the battery, fuel filter, oil (changed it), spark plugs recently. It will almost always start up just fine, EXCEPT after I stall out. For example, I'll be going uphill and I just don't give it enough gas; it stalls, so I pull the parking brake, put it to neutral, and to be safe I take the key out or turn it back. The engine is warm so I don't need to use the choke, I push in on the clutch and try to start the car. It just makes a noise like its trying to start, but wont! Once I push it off to the side of the road on even ground, it turns on easily most of the time.

Please helppppp.

Hmm. If it's stalling out on hills and not starting on hills, sounds like not enough fuel... How old is your fuel pump?
