Help! Where does this plug go to? Pics

Hey whatsup,
I just got my FC not too long ago.
The guy who had the car before me was working on it.
Seems like he didn't do a great job on it, so I'm putting things back together now.

Theres this little plug which I'm not sure where it goes.
The connector inside is a single male spade.
I'm not sure if the plug is even suppose to be in this location as the wiring harness is all funky.

The car is a 87 Turbo II.

Thanks in advance guys!

If it's at the back of the engine, it's probably the O2 sensor, like gergrx7 said...Look down on your exhaust manifold, just aft of the heat shield, the O2 sensor should be there. Follow the wiring (if any), & see if it has a home...

Anywhere else in the engine bay, we probably need a pic, or a damn good description of it's location...

hmmm... man, this wiring harness is all jacked up then.
The wiring on this is REAL short.
Theres no way it will reach down to the exhaust manifold.

LOL, that plug doesn't go to the exhaust area- the O2 sensor wiring plug goes to IT...And yeh, it's fun to get to...

sorry bud but that isnt not likely the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor on the turbo engines is on the other side by the BAC valve. At least that is the way it is on my stock TII AE

I do have that plug on my car but I would have to go out and look at where it goes. I do remember that one though.

The poster above is correct...If you take off the Inter Cooler (4 bolts, 2 small hoses (if you have emissions..) and two ic hoses) you will see there is another plug that is not connected. I can find a pic somewhere and post what I am talking about...

Connector is surrounded by yellow:

Hope that helps.

Hmmm, maybe the turbos are different, but that sure as hell looks exactly like my O2 sensor harness connector...

well it plugs into a connector that has a place for the connector to clip too on the back mounting bracket of the IC

I would have to take the IC off to tell you what it plugs into. something near the TB

I tried

It looks to be the same size to me as well, I mixed it up too until I noticed it was on the wrong side. I thought maybe it was a Right hand drive model for a min, but I don't know much about those either.
