There are several vendors with rebuild kits (Mazda, RotaryAviation, Atkins to name a few), spend some quality internet time on this topic...You will also need the Haynes, factory service manual, or a rebuild video (also available from different vendors)...Spend some time researching everything you can, then you will be able to make an educated decision based on your specific needs...

It's a heavily involved job, ESPICALLY if you're doing it yourself for the first time.

DEFINATLY requires a Factory manual and a Haynes manual. Each one has different discriptions that come in handy when the other doesn't explain that well. Read both books *FIRST.

A area where all the parts can be LEFT untouched, and neatly laid out is DEFINATLY needed. Otherwise a day can pass and one important minor detail can be forgotten.

Also, spare already disassembled motors helped me out BIGTIME to reference.

But for the most part the way it comes apart is the way it goes back together. Follow the book to a EXACT and it'll work. Don't cheap out and try to re-use *ANYTHING skecptical. It'll cost more in the long run.

Vaseline is your friend, use plenty of it.

Otherwise, scout out a REPUTABLE shop to do it for you. There's plenty of them.

Both ways cost $$$$ to do correctly.

Yes, nonmature, there is a BIG difference in power on a fresh rebuild with new rotor housings...It's like I got a supercharger upgrade or something, lol, it's like night & day, man...
