Thumbs up

hey man im in lawton ok. i did the same swap in a 87 with the na harness. now it can be done with a lil sacrificing. like premixxing and all. contact me if u want som more info on this. when i first did it i had the idling problems to but after some tech info and all i finnally made it past it all. heres what i had to do. remove all your emmissions including doing the tbmod. u can still use the s5 tb front cover you just need to remove the omp and take the s4 turbo tps and put in the spot the outer one goes on the s5 bracket. run new fuel lines direct and you will only wind up with a couple vac lines instead of all the mill it comes with. there is a write up on emmissions removal on rotaryressurection.com now you will also need to source out some s4 t2 injectors low impedence. now i didnt get all the sensors u did with yours so i need to get the bps and the arm but i actually still using the na. now you might wanna get the n333 or n332 ecu. now also run an extra ground from the top of the uim and ground it out on the firewall someplace good. then port your wastgate so you wont get as much blowback. its recomended to upgrade your fuel pump but the s5 u have there u may beable to use that to.i know im probly missing alot but i have everything written down so im just going off the dome right now. oh you will need a driveshaft. either one custom made for the t2 trans to na diff or use an auto just get a spacer made up about 1/2 to 1in for the rear as it is a lil shorter. i will work without the spacer but ts safer with it.

any questions feel free to ask i will pull up the documents i had and we can get a lil more indepth. also u are gonna lose your ps and ac. it didnt bother me though. all in all its more work than stand allone but its a few hundred cheaper to do.

What is this port? Do I need to block it off or keep it?

Keep it if you're gonna use the stock turbo. That's the turbo coolant feed line.

The LT10s in that link you posted is a reasonable price for a brand new unit.
It should be able to use all your factory sensors, and coils.

Yea the diagram on their website doesn't look that hard. About how many wires total are there to connect? Whats the difficulty rating (1-10)?

Oh can I use the stock turbo ignition coils or do I have to buy 2 sets from microtech, or any other extra sensors?

You can use the FC ignition coils with the MicroTech. The coils themselves are very robust, so you should have no problems.

As for wires, you have the coils, cas, injectors, sensors, and some auxiliaries (e-fan, 2-step, etc)

How about the ignition enhancer? Is it worth the $100 bucks?
