yipee...another bad idle thread!
(yes, I searched first)
My car (91 n/a) starts and runs fine under power, but it won't idle. If I let it try to idle, it bounces around 1200 rpm for a second (sometimes), then drops and dies. If I keep my foot on the gas pedal a little bit, it doesn't die but it runs really rough.
This is very annoying (and potentially dangerous), as it dies whenever I come to a stop.
I have no idea what to look for, and even if I did I probably couldn't fix it.
I at least want to narrow it down to something.
My first thought was intake leak. I'm not sure how to find that.
Could it be fuel related?
Electrical?
please help

I had an idle problem last year, if you look at my previous posts (couple were stupid questions ). I took out my intake and checked my injectors (one was stuck) and changed all my vaccums (one small vacuum was cut). Now I idles like à new car even with my A/C!
The first thing to check are the vacuum lines...
