1. How did you know that I just got it?

3. I have my integra that is my daily driver so the 7 gets a much attention as it needs!!

Not just a myth, a complete load of BS!

With all those mods, that’s a real surprise. Is that verified on another gauge, or is that what the boost controller says?
Greddy Extreme 60mm Exhaust
Do you mean dual 60mm? If so, you should’ve gone 2.5” (64mm) each side, it makes quite a difference, especially with a turbo like that. If that’s a single, that’s probably why you have no boost, that’s tiny!

your avc-r can read boost BUT i would check to make sure its hooked up correctly remember the S5 T2 has a boost solenoid make sure its not hooked up still. the avc-r can be a pain to setup correctly

The solenoid isn't on the turbo itself, it's under the intercooler. On the stock turbo there's a tee in the wastegate actuator line that goes to the solenoid. With a turbo upgrade like yours and/or an EBC, this system isn't necessary. You should just have two hoses (one from the wastegate actuator and one from the compressor outlet) that go to two ports on the EBC's solenoid. Check all that plumbing is correct.

Sorry for not replying to your PM, but I'm a bit stumped on this one. You seem to have a ll the right hardware and shouldn't have any probs exceeding 10psi.

Hope it's just the gauge!

does your boost hold steady? cuz even with the wastegate unplugged on my car i could only get 10psi... only weird thing is the needle would jump like crazy between 8-10psi.... even on the hks AND apexi guage... found out that low compression was the factor whats your vaccum at idle? mines 12-14 which is another factor of low compression.

Thanks for the post! I dont remember off hand but I think at idle my vaccum is near 20. Also about my wastegate at low speeds when I left off the gas it sounds like I have an exhuast leak!! Could this just be the wastegate? I dont believe that I have an exhaust leak!! I am going to check my vaccum at idle and post again!

with 20psi vaccum at idle i would think that you would be fine. check your turbo for shaft play. and doesnt the avcr able to read boost too what is it reading?

I installed an Auto meter boost gauge and a acvr. The stock gauge and the ACV-R show boost(.8 + on the ACV-R)(boost cut defence installed for stock gauge) but the autometer shows 1-0 psi. I dont know if theres a trick to hooking up the autometer or what but right now I think its ****. I changed out the brass ferrels on the tefflon line to the autometer and it didnt do any good.

Well I thought that I had it all figured out but..........
I dont!
I have about 16 psi at idle which is pretty good.
I only hit 8 psi in 2nd and 9 psi in 3rd.
I thought that it was the duty cycle on my avcr but that doesnt seem to be it.
I am going to check my bov and see if it is maybe leaking after 8 psi.
I am going to check my lines to the gauge and maybe one is pinched alittle.
I will say one thing it really sucks that I cant boost any higher because I would love to be able to run 10 psi in 2nd and 3rd.
And if I wanted to bump it up more for that occasional kill.
If anyone has any info on my set up please let me know
Thanks,
Josh

Oh yeah I was looking at my avcr while I was driving tonight and when I was hitting max boost the avcr was showing that my turbo was only at 83%. Soooooo I now need to figure out what that is all about. Hopefully that info will help get a answer to my damn problems.

as posted before... ditch the avcr and buy a ball and spring manual one for like $30 off ebay. if you can't get more boost with that. atleast then you know it's not the controller. if you do, then just keep it...
