Help! Need vacuum for boost gauge

I hope I have better luck on this forum.

While removing part of my emissions I didn't pay attention to the nipples that are directly under each secondary injectors. Can these be capped off? What are they for?

Also on a N/A S5 were would be a good place to get vacuum/Boost pressure? I have installed a turbo and would like to know were to hook-up my boost meter.

Thanks

The nipples on the side of the Seocndary injectorss are the air bleeds for them. You connect the front one to the one oppsed to it and then the one on the back side goes to the Upper manifold nipple.

here is a pic to show what I'm talking about. I believe it is the green color.

Since you have a turbo you can only pull vacuum from behind the throttle plates. I think on the upper manifold(maybe lower) near the boost sensor pickup there is an extra nipple you can use or you can just tee into the bost sensor line.

Hmm that's an S5 NA? Never seen them before. I guess it is fundamentally the same.

Thanks, I see the extra nipple you are talking about.

In reference to the nipples under the secondaries.... can they just be vented to the atmosphere or capped or do they need to be conected?

They shoud go to the intake because I would assume it could create a leak. Technically you can go without them and just cap em but they put it there to help fuel atomization or something.

I know they were conected to the "rats nest", however I have removed portion of it. That is why I don't know if they can be capped or need to be conected.

This extra line that is available is it capped off and in a row with a bunch of other vac lines coming off of it?

I have one line like that and wasn't quite sure what it could be used for.... Id move my gauge over there and not have it T-d into the boost sensor for safty reasons...
