help on intercooler pipes????

hi, i have a fmic that i bought a while back and ive been thinking on how to pass all the pipes through the car, ive seat in front of the car thinking on how to and i really don't have a very clear shot on how to pass them. my fmic isn't that big and i was planning on kepping the bumper support bar. the lenght of the fmic is 28x6'5x2'5. if someone has a fmic can you post pics of how you pass all your pipes. ill really appreciate it.

I ran mine down through the pass area, then back through a hole in the rad support. Kept the pipes on the pass side, and I was able to retain my bumper support...

well, I have the greddy kit - the holes it uses are: (you have to enlarge them)
on the passnger side of the car it uses the hole behind the resistor box that some wires pass through for the headlights, on the driver's side it uses the hole where the headlight washer tank filler sat.

Driver's side brake duct, headlight washer tank, bumper and bumper cover, both headlight doors and air pump muffler all had to be removed. Air pump muffler and headlight washer tank were relocated to the dumpster. I had to cut both the drivers and passanger side brake ducts, and for my fmic to fit the bumper and bumper brackets had to stay removed.

Here's a post i made on another forum just after we finished getting mine done

The work is all custom with 2.5" stainless tubing, Had to use a TB adaptor, remove aircon, put battery in the back and enlarge some holes to get the pipes through

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh my, things have changed under the bonnet a bit, lets take a closer look shall we..

Throttle body side

Turbo side

A little something extra we got around to adding aswell

And the biggest headfuck of the day award goes to...

Overall awesome job, took 2 days to complete, would of been a day and a bit if we didn't have to **** around with the rats nest for most of day 2.
Most surprising thing was when it started up fine first try 8)

Pre-preparation for this install is battery moved to the back, removal of AC and get rid of as much emissions crap as possible just to make it easier. Also, if running standard management get rid of the rats nest (aka solenoid rack) as we found this out the hard way.

weee
