OK, I GOT MY CAR TO START FOR THE FIRST TIME. I TOOK OFF THE S-AFC AND PUT SOME NEW PLUGS IN, DID THE IN-LINE SWITCH FOR THE PUMP. (CAR HAS NO AC COMPRESSOR, AIR PUMP, AND POWER STERING) AND BOOM IT FIRED UP. IDLES AT BOUT 2G'S BUT AFTER A FEW SECONDS IT STARTS PUMPING BLUISH OUT OF THE EXHAUST AND WHEN I PRESS DOWN ON THE GAS IT WANTS TO DIE. DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE RUNNING REALLLLLY RICH AND I NEED TO PUT THE S-AFC BACK ON THE MATCH AIR WITH FUEL OR WHAT. PLEASE HELP ME

If it took a long time to get it to start, its possible that it was flooded. That gas that was flooding it, and the oil that it washed off the rotors got blown into the exaust manifold. With a little luck, the smoke will disapate after running for thirty minutes or so. At this time I would not worry about the color of the smoke. Just run the engine for a half to full hour and wait and see. I've flooded a couple of times and the smoke was white. I've rebuilt engines that smoked heavily afterwards(vaseline and oil used in the rebuild) and that smoke was....white. Just give the engine time enough to heat up the exaust and burn out any residual oil that collected there. If its not better after an hour of running.....well, think the worst.

Blinker fluid. hehe. Didn't you tell one guy thats what it was and he went to find some and couldn't? Maybe it was someone else, but that was funny as hell, man. Blue smoke as I remember is sending radiator fluid through your engine more than it should. Did it go away eventually? Give us some more info.

If the smoke has not gone away after a half hour to an hour of running, I'd suspect the oil seals on the rotors. Expensive. Does this car idle only at 2 grand???? Yes I guess it does, just re-read the first post. If it warms up does the idle drop down??/ The blue smoke could also be the turbo leaking oil. I don't have enough experience to diagnoss that. Vacuum leaks come to mind if the car is warmed up and idles at 2grand. If that does not work for you I'd look at the fast idle circuit to see if the cam is falling off the roll pin when the thermowax is fully warmed up. See the Fuel section of the fsm for that. Hey, I bumped you to the top!
