Unhappy 88 t2 mass airflow meter

Help.... what is the right mass airflow metter for a 88 turbo 2. I'm trying to get the car back to gether after a motor replacement and don't know what one to use, I have 2 from na cars and one frome the turbo car. Any help would be great.

well I've heard people on here say the TII one is different from the N/A one.....but my 86 N/A GX is running on my 87 TII AFM perfectly fine.

But you can also adapt a S5 AFM in, I think sureshot has a writeup.

But if you use the S4 one, you should be able to run it with either. But then again I have TII AFM in an N/A...not the other way around, but ideally just use the TII one.

I really don't know if the '87 and the '88 airflow meters are the same, but the number on my 87 TII is N318 13 210 (if that helps).

yes there is a difference, an n/a with a TII MAF will run lean conversely a TII with an n/a MAF will run rich. not by much to affect drivability a whole lot but it is noticable.

Ok, one of mine is a N318 and the other one is a N326, The third one is broken.

N326 is a non turbo 1986-87 ECU

N327 is non turbo 88

N332 and N333 are the ones you send off to RTEK to upgrade to the RTEK2.0
