4 grand Canadian ? and the breakdown you showed is a bit suspect. It could easily reach that price but you definately are not getting a deal. What is the info on the engine btw is it a junkyard pull or rebuilt etc. JDM?. IF it was a new rebuilt core etc. then the price is justifiable.(cept the mounts )
Last what kind of warranty are they offering. if any?

well the engine is used (under 50,000Km)90 day warranty because its used but the labour is under full warranty. i called a mazda dealership and asked about the engine mounts. the guy said that the price wasnt to far off. probly 100 bucks more expensive. remember this is all in monopoly money. oh yeah i live in edmonton alberta. the shop is called "karbz performance". so far the guy there has been the most knowledgable and helpfull out of the people i have called. and he is doing custom piping to the intercooler(i didnt want a new hood). its gonna look sick.

That itemization is crap. The engine mounts are the same as the n/a model, they won't have to do anything.
The N/A ECU won't run the 13BT engine, hopefuly they are planning oninstalling an ECU for you too?
Labor seems about right. I personaly would do the work myself if you've got tools, time, and ambition. If not, that $1200 is a decent deal, but would buy ALL the tools needed, including the engine hoist and stand...

You should try contacting RX-7 Specialtys in Calgary, they do good work and they quoted me about $1500 for labour doing the same swap but also installing rear end, drive shaft, transmission, wiring, etc.
