Angry !HELP! CAr doesnt start......

I had gotten a flat tire so the car sat for awhile until I could get a new one.So when i try to crank the car all that happens is the fan spins.I dont know anything about rx7's at all and any help is appreciated. It could be flooded but i took the spark plugs out and they didnt seem like they were doused in gas,I tried the simple unflood and Complex. Always the same noise ( fan spinning ). I dont think its a blown apex seal since it wont start... Could it be the starter ? Should i try jumping the car ? I checked the engine fuse ect. and changed it even though it didnt look like it was blown. I will change the SparkPluggs and the Wires going to them when i have a chance. Should i try turning the engine by hand ? Should i check the compression ?
Could it be a blown fuse in the engine bay ?

Yea, try the clutch trick first, and if that doesent work, jump it.

I had the exact same problem yesterday morning. It took about a half hour.

This may surprise you, but i've found that on my FC it doesent start up as well when its cold outside or if you havn't driven it in a while. Yesterday it was 20 degrees outside and i had'nt driving it in 2 weeks.

Although, i did have a little problem. We found out that my battery was almost dead, which could also be your problem. I got a new one.. And now that I think about it, that might be your problem too.

Anyways, clutch trick than jump if it doesent work.

It sat for almost a week, also excuse my ignorance but how can you tell if the battery is dead to the extent that it wont start the engine, Because it seems fine to me since the Lights all work. Oh and if the battery were dead I dont think it could have gone through so much of the flooding procedures ( tryed to crank like 30 times ). Also the battery is about 2 months old and i could charge it back up if you really think its dead.

You can take it to Pep Boys, or another local car place and get it tested.. Thats what I did.

Also, i tried my car a ton of times before i could get it to start. Your battery could be dead after 2 months, if you left your lights on once or twice. Also, It doesent take nearly as much power to turn the lights on as getting the engine running.

Good luck

Does it "click" or nothing when you turn the key? Possibly a starter(solenoid) or connection problem. Have you clean the battery posts?

All that happens when i turn the key is the sound of the fan spinning. It doesnt really make the sound of a car trying to start just the fan spins. The starter is fine because the car would not crank when i tried to jump start it. The battery is fully charged and the battery posts are clean.

Car still doesnt start. Asked my brother in law about it who used to be a auto mechanic and he tells me to ask a friend who works at napa who owns like 5 rx7's. I'm starting to think its the coils I tried to see which spark pluggs would spark and i only got one to jump I didnt really have enough time to try it any more but tommarow i will try to check the spark plugg wires again and see if can get another to spark. I dont think both coils could go bad at the same time so I should be able to get 2 outa 4 of the spark plug wires to spark.

Also since i'm not really familier with auto mechanics I got my info mixed up. Actually the fan, belts, and I think Starter are spinning.I also meant to say I know the alternator is not the problem ( not that the starter isnt for sure the problem ).

I guess i need to change one of the coils and all 4 of the spark plug wires. Anybody think it could be the air flow meter ???
