Exclamation !help! 86n/a still doesnt start

I had gotten a flat tire so the car sat for awhile until I could get a new one.So when i try to crank the car all that happens is the FANSPINS.

I dont know anything about rx7's at all and any help is appreciated.

It could be flooded but i took the spark plugs out and they didnt seem like they were doused in gas,I tried the simple unflood and Complex. Always the same noise
( fan spinning ).

Also I dont think its a blown apex seal since it wont start... I dont think its the starter because i tried to jump the car and it didnt work. I checked the engine fuse (blue 15a) and changed it even though it didnt look like it was blown.

I will change the SparkPluggs and the Spark Wires going to them when i have a chance. Should i try turning the engine by hand ? Should i check the compression ( I know if its flooded i would get crappy compression ) ? Could it be a blown fuse in the engine bay ( they all seem fine ) ?

As i said whenever i try to crank the engine all that happens is the fan spins it never makes a sound of trying to crank. My Battery is FULLY charged so it is not the problem.

Do you have an electric fan or the stock clutch fan?

Maybe your starter is dead.. check connections on the starter.. tap it lightly with a hammer and see if that gets it to turn over.

My car is a manual. I have no idea really, but if i had to guess it would have to be the electric.

I thought that if the starter was dead you could still jump start your car, but when you removed the jumper cables the car would die ?

Uhm, no, that would be your battery. If you've got an electric fan, it'll probably turn on the second you put the key in the 'ON POSITION', if you have a clutch fan, it will only spin if the engine spins. If your car isn't turning over at all, check your battery connections, your battery (to see if it's dead obviously), the main fuse in the engine bay, and if all of that is good, check the switch on your clutch pedal to make sure it's functioning, and if all of that's good, whack the starter with a hammer or replace it.

alright, so find a spare spark plug, or just remove the plug wire and set it near the bolt, and get someone to turn the car over while watching the end of the boot, does it spark at all? (DO NOT HOLD THE BOOT, it hurts like hell!)

It's possible that it could be no spark... but in all honesty its probably just flooded... have you tried the ATF trick?? If you dont know what it is... just go get a quart of some automatic transmission fluid, and remove your two bottom spark plugs. Get a hose or something and jimmy rig it so you can dump just a little bit into the two bottom spark plug holes.. once youve done that, just put your plugs in and ur wires back on.. then turn her over and see what she does... it will make a lot of smoke though. hehe

This happened with my car (twice) and it was flooded (both times). Did the ATF trick, but also had to push start it. Lots of smoke, backfiring, and even some flames.

Car still doesnt start. Asked my brother in law about it who used to be a auto mechanic and he tells me to ask a friend who works at napa who owns like 5 rx7's. I'm starting to think its the coils I tried to see which spark pluggs would spark and i only got one to jump I didnt really have enough time to try it any more but tommarow i will try to check the spark plugg wires again and see if can get another to spark. I dont think both coils could go bad at the same time so I should be able to get 2 outa 4 of the spark plug wires to spark.
