Hello, new to the board....

Hello, I am new to the board I am hanging around because I have plans to buy a 2nd Rx7 and use it as a parts car for a rotary conversion in my 1968 datsun 510, this will lighten the car up considerably making it around 2050lb's with driver and a newar perfect 50/50 wieght distribution. I also drive a built 3000gt-vr4 that is still a work in project but is becomming very close to a low 11's high 10 sec street car, whatever passes I make will be on pump gas and street tires so it really is a street car with street car manners, I could drive this car everyday and it wouldnt bother me. So anyway that's me just a little introduction, I do all my own work and have a great understanding of internal combustion motors and a pretty good understanding of rotories so I am not a stupid newbie that is just trolling because he is bored I normally post over at www.3si.org and www.datsun510.com
If you want to see pics of either of my cars pics are up at:

I am going to put a GXL motor in so N/a but I will be doing a complete rebuild with porting about a year after and then I will probably switch to low compression rotors, and for sure high perf. apex seals and a turbo on a custom header, probably with an external wastegate but I havnt decided.

hey I think a few Datsuns have been converted to a 13b-t turbo motor. Do a search for "datsun" on this forum and the web and you should see the owners

No when I do the internal work and switch rotors will be when I am doing the turbo conversion so low compression like 8.5:1 or so

I know there are some turbo rotary 510's out there and also some n/a ones, there are also a lot of 510 owners thinking about the swap it really is the best swap in my opinion, I choose a rotary conversion over an sr20det swap.
