DIY BOV effective?

just wanted to know how effective the DIY BOV is. i was thinking of doing it since i just installed an intake. is it worth doing even though i am still using a mass air flow sensor? will the pressure NOT going back into the TID affect the MAF?
thanks!

mine doesn't seem to be leaking. I'm having some problems, but I don't believe they're BOV related. The pressure goes AFTER the MAF, so it wouldn't affect the MAF, it will just make you run a little rich for a VERY short time after it blows off. Good luck.
