Heat on Full Blast- Power Steering, bye bye!
whats goin on people? so im goin to cut straight to the scene- when my heater was on full blast, my steering became really hard to steer! It literally felt like the power steering went, PUH-ECE!
as soon as i stopped, smoke was coming from where my AT shifter is at- theres a little whole on my shifter so thats how i noticed the smoke fillin up in my car.

Well maybe he isnt on steroids and doesnt have 22 inch pythons to steer his rex.
This is gonna sound retarded but check the belt, its a possibility that failed..or somethin happened under the engine bay and the smoke went down and came up through the hole.

I can't think of any intersection between the power steering and the heating system so perhaps you're inferring a connection that doesn't exist.
At any rate, the smoking issue would seem to be the most pressing so I'd investigate that first.
Can you duplicate the conditions and make it smoke again?
If so, immediately open the hood and see what's going on.
