yes, except that that FC doesn't have the FTP lenses, haha. I vote for pop-up headlights.

i like the east bear conversion, and the re amemiya fc 2000....but the pop ups are definently nice......old school gotta luv em'

are those FTP lights also referred to as "City Lights"?

 

I've been looking for East Bears for a long time but they have discontinued them, good luck finding them. If you do PM me and I'll get a set, too.

 

You cant go wrong with the Pop-Ups. Many of the built in kits i've seen look like crap.

 

+1 on those headlights... they look great. I'm definately going to keep those in mind if I switch my lights!!!

No, they are two different things. Although exactly what is meant by "city lights" escapes me at the moment.

 

i think they are located in the same spot..... i think the j-spec "ftp's" are city lights due to them having lights built in...and domestic ftps have clear plastic for flashing the high beams

 

All the city lights I've seen are little blue LEDs.

 

For the FC, only pop-ups look right. They match the styling of the body. The non-popups are too square looking for the body . Looks like two holes in the car.
This is all IMHO of course

 

I really like the look of a FC2k front, with either the exterior piece of the pop ups in place, or the hood brought down flush to it's center (or close) covering all but the lowest/frontmost part of the FC2k lights. I've seen it somewhere and it's so hot, but I can't find a pic right now.

 

Kinda off topic, but same general area, anyone know what headlights are on that FD?

 

Just a wild guess here, maybe a RE Amenyia?
