Arrow Header Questions....?????

Okay i read alot of exhaust threads today...what i still can't find out is ,does the RB header bolt up to the stock main cat? By the picture that is on Racing Beat it looks like it could, meaning, it looks like the same flange as the stock main cat. (Reason being emissions where i live). If not is there a header that someone makes that will bolt up to stock Main cat???
Second, i'm looking for a little better sound for my 7 and have stock exhaust system right now. What would a RB header sound like with stock exhaust???
I don't want anything loud, maybe a little more deep tone but not too loud.

You would need to buy the bonez cat that works with the RB header. Not the stock one.

The RB header is not a direct bolt in.The flange is the same but the lengths come out wrong. I believe that there needs to be an extension made for the header to reach the cat. Not sure though.

That bolts up to the RB silencer not the cat.

I vote you return the cat.

IIRC pacesetter(aka paceshitter)

That one is reputed to be very poor quality and designe.

I've never owned one so I can tell you my own experience but in Rx-7s Racing Beat is generally great products. Bonez aswell they are pretty much 7 only parts.

I have a pacesetter header on my CRX and sucks. Stay around from them.

SDJ headers and mindtrain headers do bolt right up also.

i used to have a set of pacesetter headers on my firebird and was infitely happy with the quality, but it seems the FC ones suck a nut. secondly, it is true that the black paint does peel off when used, but i always wrap my headers in heat wrap anyway to keep temps down, so looks dont matter to me.

I am also very happy with the RB ones and they sound great!

We're working on one, don't expect it for a couple months yet though.
