Lightbulb Head Light Conversion/Change

I was wondering if the ebay head lights were ok to use... if anyone has tried them, please leave feedback on what you think about them and/or pics

they work fine, i have a set on my car. whether people bash on them or not they are only $40 and are brighter than the stock bulbs and are replacable, you could just use some Silverstar 6054 replacement sealed beams also if you want brighter headlights, they are a nice replacement, nicer than these.

i bought the 6054 Sylvania Silverstars; very happy with them. They are an awesome headlight producing a broad white beam that isn't "yellow" (incandescent) at all.

^^yup, sounds like someone didn't do their homework.

coincidentaly, the silverstars are actually pretty damn nice. I've had them for over 2 years on the fc now and have been extremely happy. They are much better than stockers and are sealed beams, none of this diamond cut pos glassbox adaptor ****.

i prefer white because it is clearer but studies showed that incandescent is easier on the eyes.

smartasses. lol

I'm colorblind, so to me incandescent doesn't appear yellow, but actually dirty greyish. Icandescent is easier on the eyes, but the silverstars are very easy to get comfortable with as well. Just b/c i didn't write an essay doesn't mean my homework was unfinished, man.

They work pretty good. Well I don't have the ebay brand, but I'm using H4 housings with some Mtek(don't remmeber...) bulbs and they are really bright. The thing is though, if you use the H4 housings with high wattage bulbs you would want to use an aftermarket harness. It's to prevent your stock harness from melting. Since there's more power going through the stock harness, the wires will heat up. Plus the aftermarket harness is supposed to brighten the bulb even more.

Here is a link with the ebay housings I had installed with the silverstar bulbs. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=ebay+housings

Right now I upgraded to raybrig housings and some bulbs of which I dont know the brand. The raybrig housings make a big difference but they are damn expensive.

Rotary_7 I'm selling my ebay housings and silverstar bulbs if you want to buy them since you're local. Hit me up on AIM or PM me if interested.

Blue light is OK in good weather, but it is very poor in rain or fog.

Yellow light is way better when you really need it.
