I don't care who you talk to that kit does not sell for 130.

That kit sells for 40 dollars at any autozone. A friend has them, they aren't worth my time or money.

I was looking at that same setup. Halos are more Euro than rice...they're hard to come by in a decent kit for some cars. I figure even if you don't use the halos you still have a brighter head light using the standard H4 bulb. Anything's brighter than sealed beam.

Find any number of the million hella dealers online and get the non-sealed H4 offroad housings. Then, hit any pepboys or autozone for a pair of H4 Sylvania silverstars.

The hella housings rock...the beam pattern is a bit more aggressive and they are well made and they have a nice rubber seal to surround the housing and connector so water/dirt doesn't get in.

Do not use those lights at night. They will provide inferior visibility to you, and will blind oncomeing traffic - therefore they are dangerous!!!

Go to http://www.rallylights.com/
and buy one of their Hella kits. Its well worth the money.

A friend of mine bought that ebay kit and the bulbs where made out of some plastic material other than glass and managed to bubble up. He bought some EuroLites after that but I thought it was so funny that I had to take a pic.

I'd be a little warry about those ebay kits if I where you.

Walmart silverstar sealed beam headlights > most aftermarket headlight units that cost less than $100

Pretty good stuff. Just stick in some Sylvania Silverstars and it's all good to go.

just buy the housing on ebay (cheaper), and go buy some H4 bulbs somewhere else. on ebay they sell just the housing and some are pretty good.(bought some my self but got sold with my car)

Those ebay housings are shitty. I had some of those on my FC and there was no cutoff. Light was going everywhere. Theres plenty of good brands that sell H4 housings (bosch, hella) which perform a million times better than those ebay housings. Spend a little more money and buy quality headlights.

Another thing, If you buy the housings on Ebay, there is a group of people selling real glass housings that don't have that "diamond" look for something like 24.99. I'm not sure if the Hella housings are glass or not but for 24.99 you can't really go wrong.

All of your opinions are misfounded.
Just like you cant trust your butt for a dyno, you cant trust your eyes for what's good light and whats not good light.

You need to o some reading before you guys make statements like "silverstars are the best" or silverstars kick ***," etc.....

All that means is that you were sucked in by good marketing campaing.
