Have you ever gotten a ticket for?

Having your headlights down, shining through the area where the FTP lenses were?

Anyone had the cops bother you or give a ticket for this, and where do you live?

I live near Tampa Fl. I have never had a problem, yet.

In California, the cop would have the authority to ticket you because your "headlamps" aren't 22" above the ground. I'm not sure about the laws in other states, but I'm sure they are similar.

I had my headlights down like that in my Talon and never had a problem. But I once got a ticket for loud exhaust, loud blow-off valve, and wearing my hat too low. He said "the exhaust and the BOV were a distraction to other drivers", so I said "that's the point". But when he wrote me up for the hat that was just rediculous. He said it was a "line of sight code infraction". He never showed up in court though, big suprise.

Here in Florida there are almost no rules. except you have to have a windshield, you don't need doors or a hood, you can mod your car to no tommorrow.

I have been running a header straight pipe for almost 2 years now and no tickets for that.

take out your FTP lenses and you can actually see when you have the lights on and pull the fuse

I removed the entire brackets and light motors, so pulling the fuse , well you know.

I never had a problem doing it. It sure doesn't give enough light for me though. Maybe if you got some better bulbs, I dunno.

I used to run with mine down all the time, had a "kill" switch I guess you could call it for the motors. Had Green headlights, couldnt see for ****, looked awesome, got pulled over for my exhaust one nightv(well, many times)....didn't say anything about the green lights, or not having them up(No flash to pass). Got rid of them cause I was tired of no visibility, now I've got some hyper white lights, they rock, I get flashed by other drivers when they're on dim

I got a ticket for not having the headlights on at all and just using the fog lights.
