Someone's EGTs are a little high.
Actually based on the colour of the surrounding pipes your EGTs and mixture are pretty good.
Did you run the car hard for a few hours at the track?

Haven't put any real track time on it other than a small local auto cross event, it's seen quite a few days around a big ol' abandoned skid pad though. When I purchased it, it came with a disarray of possible fuel related issues including a TPS that was pretty far out of spec, flash codes for a bad MAP, bad engine grounds and clearly that O2 sensor has hit the bullet.

high EGTs and a backfire early up in the exhaust(well, multiple backfires over a long period of time).
another possibility would be if port air was stuck on, dumping air into the manifold at all times. i've seen these both melt but not to this extent.

"Port air" meaning auxiliary ports? Ports were closed when I purchased, zip tied them open. Currently waiting on my header back from fab having a pick up added.

So if my racing beat header blocks off where the "melty pipe" originated, I hopefully won't kill more O2 sensors or what should I do for preventative maintenance?
