Question GXL---->Turbo

A friend of mine wants to throw in a Turbo in her GXL.
Would the Greddy Turbo Kit fit her GXL or does it really have to be a Turbo II?
I also need to know what manifolds, intakes, how many extra cc's would it take to run 15psi safely for her.
She's crazy I know.

from what i know its not good to turbo the N/A car b/c the high compression rotors are harder to set up safely. wait, what year was it? it would probably be easier to get a jspec motor or something, not that thats really easy. some people have done it before but i heard that the motor blew shortly after

at minimum(unless you want it ALL to be custom work):

jspec t2 motor matching the year of her car $750-950
wiring harness for t2 motor matching the year of her car $50-100
t2 ecu matching year of her car $50-125
t2 boost sensor $25-75
t2 knock control box $10-25

use the NA flywheel off her motor, with a RACING CLUTCH..the stock NA one will not hold the power. As for 15 psi, follow the instruction for getting it form a stock t2...haltech probably, full exhaust and intake, boost controller, injectors.

That Greedy kit, along with the HKS kit will NOT fit anything but a TII engine. As others said, go with a J-Spec TII engine. I have one in our Project 86 and it is putting down about 300hp (with a bigger turbo and more fuel) and that is only at 10-12lbs of boost
