Got in un accidente!

I was driving through the walmart parking lot, watchin out for traffic (its really busy sunday afternoon), lady comes out from one of the side lots that comes to the main road and t-bones me.

My 88 GTU has a huge dent on the right rear fender, and my steering is REALLY fucked up. Cops came, blah blah, its her fault. I got a huge dent, and I think the suspension/axels and stuff are really jacked up. Im pretty sure its gonna be pretty expensive to fix, what will the insurance company do?

Here's a pic for ya's!

Do you have any actual pics of the car/damage? I hate to say it but with rear panel damage, and possable suspension damage, they may total your car. Maybe if you can get some pics up we can get a better idea of what the damage is.

well, if you have a police report and its her fault, then you talk to your insurance company, and they talk to hers, and then they will send an adjuster out to figure out how much it will cost (or something like that, have you take it to a shop they work with or something), and she should pay everything... all of the money should come from her insurance company, and she has to pay the deductable.

how does your car look? you need to go clean the hell out of it so it looks absolutely gorgeous to the point where the insurance claims guy who sees it is impressed. basically so they are willing to pay 1 or 2 thousand without totalling your car because it looks like a heap.

a friend of mine with a somewhat beat looking 89 gxl got rearended...it basically ripped all the screws out of his rear bumper mounts etc so he would need a new bumper and a for it to be repainted and they almost totalled his car for it.

even if they total out your car, you can still buy it back, usually for like a grand or so. Take everything off of it that you want and add it to the new car.

Well, remember the GTU has the TII suspension and brakes. Talk them up and any new parts should be mentioned. Get your money!

Hehe, It helps having your friends dad being an adjuster.
BTW that pic is Hilarious!

I know.

Go get a villagephotos account. I have one on 'standby' for nights like this. It's made for hotlinking.
