Profec-B - Accidental Adjustment

From the look of it, the Profec B has ***** on that front that are used to adjust the boost. What are the chances that this **** would be accidentally adjusted, or adjusted by a valet?

Pretty small. When the buttons are pushed in, there isn't much profile to move them with. Unless somebody WANTED to, then it's pretty easy.

They've never moved or been moved by anyone unintentionally, nor intentionally by a valet with mine. Mine's in my glove box though and a close it sometimes but no one has ever screwed with when pushed in.

As said above, there is a very low chance of accidentally setting the boost too high...but here is another good reason for a pop-off valve (sorry guys, I must be on my pop-off valve crusade again).

ha! actually, i was at someone's house, and several people were checking out the car while i was gone. when i got back, as i was leaving, someone was asking what that "bass" button - turns out, someone had looked under the steering column where the profec was located and turned the control ***** to max! (thinking it was some wierd bass boost!)
anyway, since then i moved it to the little container hole under the stereo -

Yeah, that's alot more subtle than under the steering column if you've already had trouble with someone thinking it was a bass boost ****!! Just messin' with ya bro. That's why I like manual boost controllers. But I still think I'm gonna go with the Blitz model. Laterz.
