I have not had any issues with the corner seals fitting in the rotor, but I have had a couple of them a tick too tight on the apex seal. This was fixed with a couple of strokes with a Swiss pattern file, not a big deal.
All I can recommend is to closely examine the corner seal hole with a strong light for carbon deposits or similar. Use a small round wire brish to remove any stuff you find. If that doesnt work I would probably just run them back over to Jonathan and have him check them.

well brought the rotors to Johnathon he fixed them up real quick, what you can do with the right tools lol. So, I spent last Night setting the other half of my sideseal clearances, spoke to Johnathon about them, he said the tightness is fine my breakin is just gonna be a little longer but thats not a problem. I might stack it later.

Also spoke to him about the front cover gasket he said either ways fine but recommened me to use the oring and gasket

He just used a dremal and opend it up. we originally thought it was a burr or somethin but we found that the corner of the rotor was pushed forward from the detonation I experienced when the motor blew I did have a broken corner seal, Soo everything is good now I cleaned everything with aceton and set the coolant orings with hylomar tomorrow I'll stack it up.

I run the same side seal clearance in bigger builds than yours, and I've never had a problem with it wearing into the plates.

 

and now hand cramps too





12a oversize apex seals,, and a pretty hard to find now-days MDR 12a rotor

1 hour each slot , 0.038mm , which is just tighter than the 0.050 to 0.10 mm in the FSM
( feeler gauge is supplied in the file kit )


there is the stock seal , bottomed out and the oversize one above, demostrating the wedge shape that the slot becomes with age

 

Yes lol my hands were crippled most after spending four hours hand sanding those damn side seals. I'm hoping for 130+ psi of compression
Bumpstart awsome I'm glad you got all your stuff. I'm also using the oversized seals and was abled to straiten the v worn in the apex slot then sand down the oversized seal to a tighter then spec measurement of .0010 as per Johnathon this is fine and will help achieve better compression.
Now that I'm almost done with my motor I can honestly say I know what and how to build a "tight " motor.

what did it consist of? ill probly be using this stuff all the time now. being a tech ive seen all kind of different sealant this takes the cake

 

so I stacked it today got the tention bolts in hand tight, ill properly toque them down tomorrow

Looking good. After you get it all torqued down, spin it a few times by hand and make sure it spins freely, allow the spings/seals to settle in, and to listen to the chugs to verify equal/similar compression on all faces. Did you lube it while stacking?

everything was lubed before installation. motor turns smoothly, just need to set endplay and can finish putting on my maninfolds
