if you had really tight clearances they may take some driving to loosen up, also if
you crazy glued the side piece of the apex seal it also may not break-off immediately.

These have all happened to me in the past but were easy fixes

Well pulled an all nighter and pulled the whole thing again tore it apart to find the glue on 2 of the seals never broke... They decided let go after I hand turned the motor for 2 seconds they release with loud snaps...
I rechecked everything.. Reassembled and reinstalled last night..
This morning I Compression checked it and it pulled 115 on the front and 135 in the rear...
Reassembled and filled everything.. then Brap Brap she went I had it running for 45 min and have started and shut it off numbers times it idles at 1500 it needs some tuning but it revs perfectly.. I also drove it around the lot It was an awsome feeling more tomorrow

Congrats!
I don't remember using any glue to hold in the little corners... just petroleum jelly...

Amazing compression on your first build!!!!!

More people should post compression #s when they do rebuilds.

Well got just under 300 miles on it... Would have had more but.....
Only me... leaving my house in Pa got 5 miles down the dirt road and im guessing I lost an injector it started running on one rotor I limped it back home.. Took my dads truck 45 minutes to Scranton for the closest uhual. To rent theyre last tow dolly and am gonna tow it back home...
That motors fine... looking at my afr it's real lean... Idk if it's an injector or wiring, but the injectors were just cleaned and flow tested.. I feel like it's a bad connection in the harness t and r made me I guess I'll be remaking make harness...
What u guys think?

how lean is it? u sure u have no fuel leaks or low fuel pressure?
look at plugs and see if one is soaked compared to the other.

depending on how bumpy that dirt road was, it wouldve loosen a connection somewhere for the injector.

Soo I got some time to look at it first thing I did was pull the plugs found the fronts wet and the rears dry.. Though I might have fouled the plugs still wanted to compression test it to make sure the engines good in 258 miles my compression on both rotors have risen 5psi.. cleaned the trailing plugs and put in a new set of leading it fired right up... I think she just really needs a good tune

When I get back from bonneroo and pay my Ito bill its time to let the Man himself tune it
