I am not sold on any of the knock boxes personally. If your going to be tuning that close to the edge, get a good ECU like an AEM or similar with knock control built in. The new AEM and Motec knock control strategies are just killer and miles ahead of what we used to have. Yeah, its not cheap but after all you just spent on the muscle for your car why skimp on the brain that controls it?

By the time that gauge shows knock, you'll be checking your mufflers for apex seals.

A knock sensor is also designed to be used on a specific engine in a specific location. Unless that gauge allows you to adjust how it interprets the sensor, filtering normal noise from engine knock, it's going to be basically useless.

In a rotary, you tune to avoid detonation instead of tuning to the edge of detonation. In general, unless you have the experience and equipment, it is just best to stay within safe timing and AFRs, throwing out a little power in exchange for safety.

this knock guage uses the stock sensor and location also has adjustible sensitivity its more so a feel good thing I believe it will help prevent the same thing from happening to me again because I had time to prevent me last motor blowing completely I detonated a few times before the motor let go

Its 50 degrees out!!! Its like spring. I had to go out and finish pulling the last of the stuff off the car while its warm.
Brake booster line and heater core line are getting sanded and painted.
I pulled my old HKS air filter out and am thinking of getting a silicon 3-4inch coupler and using this as my filter on the t04r it is brand new.
I pulled my oil cooler and lines so I can bring them to get cleaned professionally.
I am also relocating my FPR to the UIM.
I got bored over the last few nights and threw on my LIM (w/ FD adaptor), new OMP injectors, oil filler (like my PCV system lol) and Neukin turbo manifold.
Still need to set the engines endplay, need to goto work for a few things to get it done.
Here some pix as everything sits now.

so guys I need to get a few fittings for my turbo. I need the fitting that goes in the front iron, that goes to my feed line what size thread is it? it matches -4. I have a feed line and adaptor on the turbo with the restrictor for the feed side, but have nothing for the return line.
Will this fit my to4r and front cover?

sooo I went to Ito and gave me the one I needed, but some how when I installed it, it was smaller then the one I had lol after further examination I found it was a custom spacer marked .801 so I called Ito drove back down there to return it. He literally, thru it in the garbage. He tried to locate me another, but couldnt find it. I called some old friends at mazda parts department and they are over nighting me one for tomorrow for 7 bux.

Lots of motorcycles use injected two-stroke engines, probably find a suitable tank on one of them.

Ditch that filter and get a 2 stroke tank made. you can make it just have somone weld the seams. i put mine right were the zub-zero start assist tank ones. mines kinda like a triangle turned 90 degrees. if you go look at that area you will understand

Replace the element at least once a year if you insist on using it.
