get my oil changed and got problems with it
Ok so I got my oil changed and they say I had low oil pressure I figured it was because they didn’t rev the car at al but I see know that I am idling at about 500-600 when I normally idle at about 800 and the needle is sitting a little above half way between 0 and 30 when it use to sit right about 30
Plus my shift light isn’t working any more granted I noticed the shift light a little while after I had been driving about 75 miles because I had to drive home then back to the cities ware I work because I for got my uniform
So my question is could they have messed some thing up they did a full service oil change I’m wondering if they bumped some thing or put to lightweight of oil in
It’s just kind of odd that right after I get the car survived it starts having problems
Oh and my shift light quit working a wile ago after I got the car but I found a unplugged vacuum hose re attached it and the shift light started working so the first thing I did was check the vacuum lines they all appear to be in proper working order
Any one have a clue

Check the wire around the oil sender. They have a tendency to come loose, which will effect readings. Especially if they were fooling around in that area.
This is an often-covered topic, and there has been a lot of discussion on oil pressure in the past few months. Try a search for "low oil pressure".

idle is low and it sounds like the E-shaft oil thermo valve has failed.
They could have also used too light weight of oil (such as a 5W30 or lighter) which would then have low oil pressure when cold, but should be fine when warm.

15 psi at idle isn't low as long as you have the 60psi at 3000 that it says in the manual. I only get 15psi at idle (with aftermarket gauge) and that's with 20w-50.
however it shoudln't have changed from what you had before...
get the idle back up and it'll probbaly come up a bit.

The CPU monitors Engine load and throttle placement to determin if the shift up light is on.
So sure, the pressure sensor being unplugged could cause the light to not work.
