ok i have an 86 rx7..when i try to start it all i get is a click. The weird thing is that i just was driving it then i pulled it into my garage turned it off for about 15min, went to start it and nothing......i had the starter checked, and it was fine, i have power to everything, battery is at 12 volts. i have no idea what is wrong. i did a search and fould that it might be the starter. all the connections are good......if u guys would help me that would be great!!!!

the starter solenoid "plunger" could be covered in carbon preventing current to flow thru the starter motor. The one on my 85 FB was a sealed unit so I couldn't clean the carbon, probably sealed on the FC as well. Try tapping the starter, and see if it will start, or maybe try turning the engine by hand like one revolution. Then try again. If not push start it!! goodluck though
