gauge cluster/steering sensor issue

Ok so I have looked in the FAQ thread and it did help some but I am still pretty confused. my car is an s5 vert with a t2 swap running a haltech ecu for those wondering.

now the other night at a drift event the following issues came up. all the gauges on my gauge cluster died except the speedo, and all the warning lights on the idiot surround went out except the clock. I useually have a blinking air bag light, and my e brake light will illuminate) now when I start the car I get the 5 beeps telling me there is an issue with the steering angle sensor. I do have an aftermarket wheel and hub, but I have never had an issues from it untill now.
Also I developed a pretty large oil leak under the hood soaking pretty much everything on the intake/spark plug side of the motor in oil. and somehow my power steering belt flipped on the pulleys, and shrank, from what I do not know. the tension was much much tighter from when I set it last and the belt was frayed. I have since cleaned up the oil leak, and searched for the source, but could not find it, but after closely looking while revving the motor it did not leak a drop. I also replaced the ps belt, and 100a main engine fuse (unrelated but I thought Id share anyway)

Now I checked the ps fluid level and it is good, none of the lines are leaking from what I can tell, but my dust boot on the driver side keeps falling off at full lock left. not sure if any or how much debris may have gone in there, but Im checking that tomorrow. also the steering itself feels just fine. nothing out of the ordinary in terms of feel.

I do not know if the gauges going out are related to the steering issue, but I would like to know how to check the steering angle sensor. I dont know where it is located and have searched the interweb and found nothing. any help would be appreciated! heres a video if the issue in action..

Meter fuse powers the electrical gauges (speedometer is mechanical). This fuse also powers the idiot lights except for the clock.

checked it and it was fine, went ahead and put a new one in anyway because I have a bunch of spares and that still did nothing. I was also told it could be a grounding issue but I checked and cleaned all the main grounds. that also made no difference. I HAVE NOT pulled either the cluster or the idiot surround as of yet though. I should have added that in the OP

check the sensors on the pump.If you ripped a wire the Beeping is an indicator of that.

The fuse powers a Black/Yellow wire. You can find this wire in the largest plug of the CPU (situated between the Blue/White and Blue/Red wire). W/key to on it should have 12 volts.

If you don't get voltage there are a couple of things you could do. If by chance the B/Y wire was grounded out you could check it as follows. W/the multimeter set to continuity you place one meter lead to the B/Y wire and the other meter lead to a known ground and if the meter rings out then this suggests the wire is grounded out. And this is done w/no key in the ignition.

You could also see if the B/Y wire coming off of the meter fuse has come loose.

Another thing of note. W/the fuse in place and key to on both sides of the fuse should receive 12 volts. W/the fuse pulled and key to on only one side of the fuse slot would receive voltage. If the fuse was pulled and neither side of the slot has voltage w/key to on then the wire feeding the fuse could be loose. This wire is Black/White.
