88 n/a flooding problems

ok so i have only been driving this thing for about a week now and the guy i got it from said there was new plugs, new k and n stock airfilter, well when im driving it and coming up to a stop, but not always, it will die when i push in the clutch, so i will pop the clutch and kinda rev it to keep it going until i light turns green or whatever, been runnin a ton of stop signs lol, and then after it has been warm like driving around then go to gas station or whatever, when i go to start it it wont start so i pull the egi fuses and it usually starts right up but earlier i poped the fuses and it wouldnt start so i roll starter it, but it seems to be EVERY time after it warms up? it also has some sort of coolant leak which i have yet to find and a slight exhaust leak, has a magnoflow muffler on it, not such how long it has been on? and help is greatly appreciated

A bad water thermo sensor (back of waterpump ) will cause this type of flooding.
FIND the coolant leak!..The engine relies heavily this!
Suggestion: try sentences Please,to make it easier for someone to read your post.

The engine could have Low compression. Check Compression numbers. You will need a CAM a Piston compresion tester without the valve. Fast FIX is a switch to the fuel pump Mounted From the Fuel pump wire to somewhere you can reach easy. Flip the switch off turn it over till it catches then flip it back on. Also if its dieing by itsself You may need to adjust the top screw on the Upper intake manifold. Might need a tune, Also he might have sold it because he was having problems with it

I had a problem similiar to this on my 88 n/a, i ignored it until i had to get it towed (bad idea both my cars brokedown long story lol). To make it short my main relay failed. Also I had a bad ground on the fuel pump itself. It still floods, but only when I dont let it cool all the way and it is now my daily driver. I would check it out before doing anything too crazy.

ok, the leak i think is coming from the line that goes from the top where the waterpump is to the radiator, the small hose, can i take this one off cause it looks pointless? and with the fuel pump switch, would i turn it on when i get in car and should i turn it off when i shut the car off? where do i install on the pump? dont i have to drop the tank to get to it? and every now and again i also notice my heat isnt hot, any idea on that? bad thermostat?

No.. the wire can be seen if you lift the carpet.. besure its not the fuel gauge wire. Or you might need to reconnect it.. then add wire to where you mount the switch,

You can use the switch as anti theft. If you wire it up right were it cant be seen. Or you can leave the switch on, And only use it when it floods.. its up to you. But i used the switch for anti theft. and to Deflood it. this was because i had low compression
