Fuel pressure ?

OK whats the least amount of fuel pressure that can be used on fuel injection and still run? Basically I want to be able to run higher volume injectors but decrease fuel pressure, going to be using Greddy 720cc.

Also can i run 2 fuel pressure regulators? One on sec fuel rail and one on primary rail in parralel(sp?)

Only one fuel pressure reg is needed. If i am not wrong the injector wont spary a good enough patten if there is not enought pressure, and liquor fuel don't burn.

Just a question, but why do you want to do this?

You can cycle them lower but keep fuel pressure normal...

Bad idea, don't do it. Less pressure = less atomisation = lower efficiency. If you want you use bigger injectors, get a fuel controller.

I got a SAFCII to control fuel but I can't use the 720ccs in the primaries cause it floods out the car. I just want to drop the pressure on the primaries enough to run with them.

So whats the least pressure you can run, i already have the 720s in the secondaries.

What do you have for secondary injectors now? Why not use the 720s there?

Like I said, bad idea. Don't do it. For starters, to get 720's to flow like 550's you'd need to lower static fuel pressure from 37psi to less than 25psi. At that pressure atomisation is going to be quite poor, not to mention that you've reduced the entire fuel system's capacity to about the same as it would be with stock injectors and correct pressure. What's the point of that?

If your mods require you you to run bigger primary injectors you shouldn't be pissing around with interceptors. If you want more fuel than the 550/720 combo provides and still want to stick with the S-AFC then get bigger secondaries.

NZ beat me too it, but I just noticed one thing. You have a GXL, thus an NA? Why do you want this much fuel again?

You can always run 550CC primaries if you really have need for this much fuel, and 850 CC secondaries.
