FS: turbo II should i get?

i have seen this rx7 turbo II runnin around. very nice rims. Thats about it. Nice paint as well. But the only thing that worries me is that the engine has 200,000 KMS on it (120,000 miles) And i think before it blew instead of swapping my n/a to TII i could rebuild the engine?

How long does it take to rebuild? And how much $$

thanks guy!

rebuild is around 2000 Canadian dollars, thatis no porting and nothing special just replacing seals and using old housings... and you pulling and reinstalling engine.

sounds tempting. if you can get it for a low enough price go for it, that way you can have enough money for an engine if you need it. otherwise you might consider getting a blown engine TII and going that route, it can be much cheaper

True, what about rebuilding the engine myself?
Is this a good idea? Buy a video. I'm a fairly good home mechanic

if you are confident, i absolutely say go for it! i mean what is the worst that can happen? personally i am too much a wuss to try and tackle this job myself, I would rather shell out the $$$ and get it done quickly, but if you are a good mechanic try it!

How much does rebuilding a rotary cost? And what are there many special tools needed?
