Front,Rear Diff Mount not fun....

I pulled a diff mount from a junkyard today the guy raised the *** end up and we put wheels under it and I was able to sit indian style under the car that was a bitch to pull out I cant imagine how I am going to put it in my car with barely elbow room.
Can anyone tell me the best order to go in when putting in a new diff mount? I think I did it the hard way,
also am I going to need an alignment in the rear after putting this in?

To all who have done this with ease...I salute you.

There is no easy way. It does not exist. Some ways are less of a headache than others, but all are hard!! And I don't beleive you will need an alignment.

if you are going to go through the truble of installing a diff mount why would you put a used one in? it might not be any better then the one you have now.

Good point unfortunatly pulled the used one this morning, to save myself 98 bucks... you know what it wasnt friggin worth it. If I had it to do again I would have paid the 98 bucks in a heartbeat.

Because someone said these "break" the one I pulled isn't broke. It looks like new, and it was 5 bucks. Plus I got the experiance of pulling one without worrying about breaking anything on my "own" car.

Someone told me that racers put some kind of plate in there to fill a small gap that is believed to be the reason these break alot. Is there any truth to that?
