I swapped the front cover on my S5T2 for a S4T2 so I can switch to the manual MOP but the S4 cover must be a little bigger than the S5 cover because when I put the water pump assembly back on, the piece behind the water pump didn't clear the cover and cracked it.
Is there a way to repair the cover that is reliable. Do I need to swap the water pump assembly?

Swap the waterpump assembly, and replace that front cover...

 

swap both and alleviate the problem.Also,why go OMP when you can just premix and get rid of the OMP?

 

Wonder if I could just grind down the water pump assembly?

 

It doesn't look like it needs a lot removed.

did you make sure the torrington bearing didnt fall?

 

I don't really want to sound dumb but........ I'm not sure what the torrington bearing is.
