s5 Rear Iron Temp Sender Thread

Can anyone tell me the type of bolt/thread that i can put in the temp sender unit on the rear iron of an S5 Turbo Im trying to plug it. S4 and S5 appear to be different, and its not a NPT size its something different. Anyone Know? Thanks.

I looked that up once when I was parts tech... If I remember right it was 1/8th inch pipe thread. but it was a funky thread pitch ( like 1/8th NPT x 16) not the standard 1/8 npt x 27

Anybody at a parts store that knows what they are doing can look it up for you in the sensor books.

Good luck finding a bolt to plug it though.. That was my original goal.. I ended up retapping it to 1/8th NPT and putting a pipe plug in it.

i would retap it but its in the car. I am going to try and find 1/8th with 16 threads. thanks.
