Front Cover Bolt Availability? Gurus look

Hey guys. I have been in contact with my local mazda dealer because I broke one of the bolts that hold the front cover. They all have various sizes but the one I need is 2" long (including the head. The dealer got the shortest one they have available for the front cover and its the 2.5" bolt which won't fit...its too long.

-Has anyone had this issue before?
-Where can I get this bolt?

The picture below is the same picture I sent to the parts guy at the mazda dealer to show which bolt it is i'm looking for.

They are the 2" long ones for sure? If so send me a PM with your paypal email address and how much you want for shipping. That would be totally awesome.

I just want to get my car back together!

I've handled, oh, 400 or so front covers, so yeah I know which ones. There are 3 short ones about 2 inches, 2 longer ones about 3 inches, and one that is slightly longer (1/8") than those 2.

Just call Mazdatrix and order a new one. They'll have one. Just tell 'em where it is on the cover. Also download the parts fische for your car. It's found in the FAQ.

Go to a fastener store and get an M8 x 1.75 bolt of the appropriate length. Or get something long and cut to fit. The exact size is not critical as long as it engages enough threads but doesn't bottom out.
