Fog Light Relay

Would anyone happen to have a picture of where the S5 Fog light relay is, and what type of relay it is?

It's next to the dimmer or headlight relay at the front of the car to the side of the battery and in front of the radiator. It has four wires. Red/White, Red/Yellow, Black and Red/Black.

Yup, turns out I'm missing that relay. Know a place I could get one?

WTB/for sale thread. Or you could use an automotive relay found at the local auto parts store.

If you purchase the automotive relay it will be either be a 4 pin or 5 pin relay. Under either situation, the Black wire goes to pin #85, Red/White wire to pin #86, Red/Yellow to pin 87 and Red/Black to pin 30. The Red/Yellow wire is powered by the fog fuse thus if this wire does not have constant power (no key) then the fuse is either missing or bad.

if you are putting fog lights in a car that didn't have them, it won't have the relay.

i think the part number from Mazda is H432-67-740, probably pricey

Is it the same relay as the headlight relay? I might have a spare on a parts car.

If you have one you could wire it so it will work in place of the fog light relay if it's not plug and play to begin with.
