FMIC w/stock boost?

Got a FMIC kit and was wondering what kinda boost lag I should expect? It's the inexpensive ebay kit and with all that piping/volume to fill i might not like the lag. Right now I just have a 2.5 full RB exhaust, TID & s5 ported turbo on my 87TII.

Anybody run stock boost with a fmic? Thoughts/concerns

you wont notice any noticeable lag with stock boost.
as long as the piping in the FMIC isnt bigger then 2.5 inches or so.

I ran stock boost with an s5 turbo and Greddy FMIC. It didn't seem to make a lot of difference.

most of the lag associated with front mounts is rumors from pencil pushers doing their builds on paper, it's hardly noticable unless you have a monster FMIC and large diameter piping. pushing a turbo without it hooked up to anything it is easy to see the sheer amount of air that it is producing to fill that cavity.

use as few couplers as you can pay the money and get the pipes welded up
