its the old injectors probly

2 gens are bad about it also for a quick fix you can just disable the fuel pump ,,,connector under the steering column to get it to start then plug it back in .im fixing to pull my injectors and have them cleaned hard and hopefully i dont have to buy new ones

Try this link from Rotary Performance......http://www.rx7.com/tech/unflood-fc.html As for the connector under the steering column, I think only the Turboii have that and CHPFLNG has a N/A with a turbo. Could be very wrong. Instead of the Rotary Performance remedy you could make a fuel cut off switch and mount it near the driver. Your engine could just be getting tired, the injectors could be leaking, the rich/lean pot could be maladjusted, your could have several other things wrong. By the way, is that what you have? A N/A with a turbo installed? I mean a car that came with a normally aspired engine that somebody put a turboii drivetrain in? Oh yes, with a fuel cut off switch, if you determine that you have leaking fuel injectors, you can just shut the engine off with the cut sw which will in turn depressurize the fuel system resulting in no leakage in the combustion chamber during the nite, later, whenever.

Put a switch on it! It will cost you $2 in parts from rdsio shack, and you will never flood it again if you know how to operate the switch, no matterhow bad your engines compression. IF you wanna know how email me hypntyz@hotmail.com
