Fixing a bunch of Lil things

Alright guys, i've just been getting frustrated with all the "little" things wrong with my car, such as hanging wires, broken springs, missing parts, you know stuff that really doesnt matter but gets in the way of looking beautiful.

So a couple questions about my clutch pedal. My clutch pedal pops waaaaaaay to far out, there's a pic where you can clearly see how much further my clutch is out compared to my brake pedal.......its really annoying, everytime i shift i have to either move my knee over to the left of the steering wheel or just smack the wheel on my knee. So i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to adjust that so it drops down a lil bit. I'm sure that i can drop it down because there's just a bunch of "blank space" between when i push on the clutch and when it actually disengages.

Also, there's this one hanging wire RIGHT in front of the brake pedal and it gets on my nerves so much. If i'm wearing shorts its just sitting on my shin and that gets really annoying. Anyone know what this wire is for by any chance. If this requires looking at a bunch of wiring diagrams then i'm screwed, cuz i cant understand those.....at all heh. Well as always any help is appreciated.

Thx Guys
Ant

well yea, i'm pretty sure you can adjusts the clutch pedal but how? i can look under the dash and just keep staring until i go blind but i cant get how to adjust it from what i can see. and yea mrfc3s i can see some places where a nut and bolt might go but not too sure so i dont wanna make a move on that yet. As for that wire..........i have absolutely no clue as to where it goes, i looked under there and supplied you guys with a pic and it doesnt look like there's any connector for it.

The clip with wires goes to the front speaker. Do you have front speakers any more or do they work? Plug it on so you can rock out.

Clutch can be be adjusted. I don't remember how off hand. It's in the FSM. There is one online if you dont have one. Teamfc3s.org I think.

In your second pic-where the clutch pedal arm hits the brace-there is a nut welded to the brace. It's the brown thing on the brace-same thing for the brake pedal. The clutch safety switch threads on that nut and gives you an inch at the brace and more at the pedal. That would get your pedal in line where it should be. If you don't want to use the safety switch use bolt thru the nut and adjust the pedal that way.

Do you have an aftermarket stereo? Stock speakers? If so check the speaker to see how it's hooked up. If you have the stock plug plugged in and it looks like the on in the pic, then heck I don't know what that is. Ignition maybe. They are usually not wrapped like that though.
