Finally got the RX-7 in my hands
Finally took possesion of the car I've been working on getting for the last few weeks. The thing that really tripped me out was the 2.5" stack of service records. Got stuff dating back to 1987. Looks as if the car came from the Santa Barbara, CA area. There are dealership recietes from there. And about $1,800 worth of reciets from Mariah. And the craziest thing of all... In the records was still the original window sticker. Car was sold in Nov. 1986. It sold for $20,728.
Now the rest of the month I'll be busting my butt to get the body prepped and the kit fitted so it can be painted the week after next. Also have AGX/Eibach/Prothane bushings waiting to go on the car.
I'll post pics next month once the outside looks good. Now it's not much to look at.

TII (duh...) You don't want to see pics quite yet. I'll get some up when I paint it.
I read through all the records last night. It's had two official owners before me. Well, the guy I bought it from doesn't really count because he only had it like 2 months....
Adjusted the TPS tonight, need to swap out my primaries tomorrow. Injectors and body kit both.

I've got the CS Type II front and sides now. But after seeing that GP Sports kit I'm wanting to go that way eventually.
Sure, I'll try to take some pics of what it looks like now. I think I'm the only one in the world that loves this car right now.
Thanks for the support too!

I'm painting my car very soon. And I'd rather not pay some one to paint the stock bumper. I've got the Type II one now, it's inexpensive so I'll just have that on for the time beeing.
There is a big NHRA Imports race here next month. I'm trying to get the car done for that. It's sponsored by Mazda so I gotta be all looking good...
