Thanks for the info guys. Waiting for my uim and tb to arrive soon in the mail. Still have to order either the greddy FD compression tube or modify my FC one to fit.

I've seen in a thread here before where some one made a adapter plate. I'll see what the best option for me is when my FD parts arrive.

S5 lower intake. No spacer.

Material added to lower intake and inner studs moved. Some elongating of holes in upper intake. Grinding under upper intake to clear fuel rail.

No intake port matching. The holes in the upper intake are smaller than the holes in the lower intake.

This was Soul Assassin's intake setup and he made something like 500rwhp with no intake port matching.

I received and test fitted my fd uim and tb today. So... Which lower oil fill tube will allow for proper clearance?

Its the lower section of the oil fill tube that is too long on the TII intermediate housing.

I used the lower section of the fd oil fill . I didn't have to shorten the upper neck.

how is everyone modifying the greddy compression tube? (to make it not point towards the alternator)

did you cut it at the flange? any pictures?

I'm just leaving mine and I'll have the outlet on y vmounted intercooler modified (again) to meet the greddy compression tube. Should allow for easier access to spark plugs.

If you want to see how people have modified it, just search for some pictures.
